Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) recently received a generous donation of HK$200,000 from Every Author Publishing Consultancy Services Limited for the establishment of the “Every Author First Publication Scholarship”. The Scholarship aims to encourage research postgraduate (RPg) students to publish high-quality, impactful scholarly work early in their academic journey.

The Scholarship will be awarded over four academic years, starting from 2026-2027. Each year, one full-time RPg student will be selected from each of the University’s six Faculties and Schools, making a total of six recipients. Each awardee will receive HK$8,300 in recognition of their first scholarly work accepted for publication or formally published during their studies at HKBU. The six Faculties and Schools are: the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Chinese Medicine, the School of Communication, the School of Creative Arts, and the Faculty of Science and Technology.
