After four years of demolition and reconstruction, Kowloon International Baptist Church (KIBC), located on Junction Road in Kowloon Tong, officially reopened on 4 October 2026 with its first Sunday morning worship service.

Professor Alex Wai, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), was invited as a special guest to deliver a message and convey the University’s congratulations. Rev. Dr. Jack Yu, Chaplain of HKBU, also attended the service, joining in thanksgiving and praise.

Marking its 65th anniversary this year, KIBC stands adjacent to the HKBU campus and has long supported the University’s campus ministries, serving as an important partner in providing pastoral care to the HKBU community. KIBC is currently recognised as Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation.
