Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) held its 21st Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony on 16 September 2026. Honorary University Fellowships were conferred on five distinguished persons in recognition of their outstanding achievements in various fields and their significant contributions to society.

Two of the recipients are members of the HKBU Foundation (the Foundation). They are Mr. Ivan Wong Siu Kei, JP, member of the Foundation’s Board of Governors and Co-Chairman of its Young Entrepreneur Committee, who is also Executive Chairman of the KF KK Foundation; and Mr. Tony Yue Kwok Leung, BBS, MH, JP, Honorary Director of the Foundation and Director of Wo Hing Construction Company Limited.

The other three recipients are Mr. Paulo Pong Kin Yee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Board of the Ocean Park Corporation; Professor Edward Yau Tang Wah, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Council of the Hong Chi Association; and Ms. Zhou Chunling, BBS, JP, Director of HK Yongan International Investment Company Limited and Executive Chairman of Sunrise Hong Kong Foundation.

A number of Foundation members and friends of the University attended the ceremony to congratulate the new Honorary University Fellows. They included Mr. Jason Chai; Dr. Terence Chan; Dr. Eddie Ho; Dr. Vincent Ho; Mr. Michael Hui, BBS, MH, JP; Dr. Peggy Lam, GBS, OBE, JP; Ms. Christina M. Lee, JP; Dr. Joseph Lee, GBS, OStJ, JP; Professor William Leung, GBS, JP; Mr. Felix Lio; Dr. Chloe Suen; Mrs. Mary Suen, MH; Ms. Tammy Tam; Ms. Eileen Tsui, BBS, JP; and Mr. Edmond Yue. Also present to extend their congratulations were Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of HKBU, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.
