Hsin Chong Construction Group Limited sponsored the HKBU Symphony Orchestra to hold its gala concert featuring world-renowned soprano Ms. Nicole Cabell at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 14 June 2015. Officiated at the tea reception were Dr. Wilfred Wong, SBS, JP, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hsin Chong Construction Group Limited, Mr. Cheng Yan Kee, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court, and Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor.

The Concert was well attended by over 1,300 guests including members of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, Foundation members, friends of the University, as well as staff and students. They included Mrs. Pamela Chan, BBS, JP, Deputy Chairman of the Council and the Court; Mrs. Doreen Chan, Treasurer of the Council and the Court and the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Lau Wah Sum, GBS, OBE, JP, former Chairman of the Council and the Court; Professor Ng Ching Fai, GBS, former President and Vice-Chancellor, and Mrs. Angeline Ng; Dr. Ronald Lu, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, and Mrs. Stella Lu; and various Foundation members including Mrs. Hung Hin Shiu, Mrs. Elizabeth Wong, Dr. Chiu Chun Bong, MBE, JP and Mrs. Luna Chiu, Mr. and Mrs. So Wing Kin, Mr. and Mrs. Fung Sun Kwan, Ms. Belinda Hung, Mr. Zachary Hsu, Mr. Allan Kwong, Dr. and Mrs. Lee Shiu, Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Mr. Yiu Yu Hung,  Mr. Wong Nga Chung, Mr. and Mrs. William Chan, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hui, Dr. Liu Hong Fai, JP and Mr. and Mrs. James Tsien.
