Dr. Arthur C.F. Lau, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded the degree of Honorary Doctor of Science by McGill University in Canada on 27 May 2015, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in architecture as well as his unstinting support for his alma mater. He was also the Founding President of the Federation of Chinese Canadian Professionals (Quebec).
