Sun Museum holds “Of Mist and Lushly Green: Longquan Celadon from Song to Ming Dynasties” exhibition

The Sun Museum, funded by the Simon Suen Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, is holding an exhibition entitled “Of Mist and Lushly Green: Longquan Celadon from Song to Ming Dynasties” featuring over 60 pieces of Longquan celadon dated from Song to Ming dynasties from nine Hong Kong private collections. The public can enjoy free admission by appointment and the exhibition will be held until 23 April 2016.

The Opening Ceremony officiated by Ms. Florence Hui, SBS, JP, Under Secretary for Home Affairs; Dr. Louis Ng, Deputy Director of Leisure and Cultural Services (Culture), Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, Miss Chloe Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen, Chairperson and Director respectively of the Simon Suen Foundation, and Mr. Yeung Chun Tong, Director of the Sun Museum, was held on 23 January 2016. Guest and HKBU representatives attending the ceremony included Mr. Lam Cheung Chuen and Mrs. Susan So, BBS, Honorary Permanent Presidents of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Hung Kwong Yee, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Raymond Leung of Comolux Limited; Mrs. Zina Chin, wife of the President and Vice-Chancellor; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
