The School of Business of HKBU held the 2015 Closing and 2016 Kick-off Ceremony of the Human Resources Management Mentoring Programme at the School of Business on 7 March 2016. The programme was funded by the SML Group, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, and sponsored by Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, for offering scholarships to recipients of “The Best Reports Awards”.

At the ceremony, Miss Chloe Suen, Director of the SML Group, and Mr. Nelson Lai, Deputy Managing Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co. Ltd., received souvenirs from the officiating guest, Dr. the Hon. Anson Chan, GBM, GCMG, CBE, JP, Former Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR, in recognition of their support for the programme. 

The ceremony was well attended by distinguished guests.  Other officiating guests included Dr. Aaron Chiang, Vice President of the Hong Kong People Management Association, and Dr. Michael Young, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Management. Mrs. Mary Suen, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, Dr. Susanna Lo, Assistant Professor of the Department of Management, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, also attended the ceremony.
