Visit by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals
The delegation visited the School of Chinese Medicine
A delegation of 18 representatives from the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs), led by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Katherine Ma, paid a visit to the University on 21 April 2016. Founded in 1870, TWGHs is the longest-standing and largest charitable organisation in Hong Kong. It has been providing a wide range of medical and health, education and community services to cater for the needs of society.
The delegation visited the School of Chinese Medicine and was warmly received by Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President and Director of the Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
After the visit, Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a lunch for the guests joined by Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary, and Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, at his residence Shiu Pong Hall. Professor Chin said he looked forward to close collaboration between the Group and HKBU for the betterment of the community.
