Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, recently hosted a lunch for Dr. Merle Hinrich, Founder and Executive Chairman, and Ms. Kathryn Dioth, Chief Executive Officer of the Hinrich Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, at his residence Shiu Pong Hall to express our sincere appreciation for the Foundation's staunch support for the University over the years and to exchange views on the University's development. HKBU representatives attending the lunch included Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Professor Huang Yu, Associate Vice-President and Dean of Communication; Professor Edward Snape, Dean of Business; Professor Ken Yung, Associate Head of the Department of Biology; Professor Cheah Kok Wai, Chair Professor of the Department of Physics; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
