The 6^th Hong Kong Creative Drama Festival held the Award Presentation Ceremony cum performance by the winning teams on 21 May 2016. Officiating guests included Mr. Sam Tin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation (TKFP), Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation, Professor Franklin Luk, Vice President (Academic) of HKBU, and Professor Daniel Chow, Chair Professor of Health and Sports Science of The Education University of Hong Kong. Mr. Tin together with two young members of the Tin family sent their compliments to the awardees.

Sponsored by TKPF, the Creative Drama Festival is organised by the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning at HKBU, with the Hong Kong Teachers Drama Association and the Hong Kong Creative Educators Organization as co-organisers. The Creative Drama Festival is the first large-scale drama event in Hong Kong that aims to promote Creative Drama Education at all educational levels.
