The Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations hosted the 8th Term Inauguration Ceremony at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 July 2016. The ceremony was well attended by over 2,000 guests including The Hon. C.Y. Leung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS, Chief Secretary for Administration; The Hon. John Tsang, GBM, JP, Financial Secretary; Dr. Yu Kwok Chun, GBS, JP, Chairman and Managing Director of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation; and Dr. Ma Kai Cheung, SBS, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation.
