Sun Museum holds “Legend of Hong Kong Ware: Yuet Tung China Works” and “Tranquility in Landscape: Works by Cheng Siu Chung” exhibitions

The Sun Museum, funded by the Simon Suen Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, is holding two exhibitions, namely “Legend of Hong Kong Ware: Yuet Tung China Works” and “Tranquility in Landscape: Works by Mr. Cheng Siu Chung”. Featuring over 70 products of Yuet Tung China Works, including porcelain dishes painted by artists Mr. Yang Shanshen and Mr. Cheng Siu Chung, as well as more than 40 masterpieces of painting by Mr. Cheng, the exhibitions aim to provide a review of the history of ceramics industry in Hong Kong and introduce to the public the dynamics between porcelain painting and painting. The Opening Ceremony officiated by Ms. Li Mei Sheung, Michelle, JP, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services; Professor Cheung Yan Leung, Stephen, BBS, JP, President of The Education University of Hong Kong; Mr. Tso Wing Shiu, General Manager of Yuet Ting China Works; Mr. Cheng Siu Chung; Dr. Simon Suen, JP, and Miss Chloe Suen, Founding Chairman and Chairperson respectively of the Simon Suen Foundation; and Mr. Yeung Chun Tong, Director of the Sun Museum, was held on 13 September 2016. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, shared the joy at the ceremony on behalf of the University.
