Professor Jack Lau (third from left), Adjunct Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and his wife (third from right) visited the Academy of Film of the School of Communication with the aim of understanding more about the University’s latest development on 12 October 2016. They were warmly received by Professor Emilie Yeh, Director of the Academy of Film; Mr. Man Shu Sum, Associate Director of the Academy of Film; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.

After the visit, Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a lunch for the guests joined by Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), at his residence Shiu Pong Hall. Professor Chin expressed that he looked forward to collaborating closely with Professor Lau in nurturing film talent for the benefit of the community.
