Mr. James Tsien, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, was conferred an Honorary Professorship by the School of Business of Hong Kong Baptist University on 6 October 2016, in recognition of his outstanding contributions and remarkable accomplishments in the business sector. After the conferment ceremony, Mr. Tsien shared with the audience his insights into Hong Kong’s competitiveness. The ceremony was well attended by nearly 80 guests and members of the HKBU Foundation, including Mrs. Teresa Tsien; Dr. Patrick Ko, Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Wong Nga Chung and Mr. Dickson Shang, Honorary Presidents of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Eddie Ho and Mr. Tyrone Siu, Directors of the HKBU Foundation; and Mr. Bernard Wu, Honorary Court Member of HKBU. Mr. Tsien is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bank of Shanghai (Hong Kong) Limited.
