The Sun Yat-Sen Education and Charity Foundation, Honorary Director of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation hosted a celebratory dinner to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birthday of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, at Customs & Excise Service Senior Officers’ Mess on 29 October 2016. Officiating guests included Dr. Tan Siu Lin and Mr. Chan Kam Lit, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Foundation respectively.  The dinner was well attended by over 250 guests. HKBU representatives attending the dinner included Professor Clara Ho, Head of Department of History; Professor Mak King Sang, Director of Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies; Professor Lee Kam Keung of the Department of History; Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement; and Dr. Li Kin Sum, Research Assistant Professor of the Department of History.
