Sun Museum holds “Hong Kong Aspiring Oil Painters in Phenomenal Times” exhibitions
The Sun Museum, funded by the Simon Suen Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, is holding an exhibition entitled "Hong Kong Aspiring Oil Painters in Phenomenal Times". 45 pieces of oil painting from 6 new-generation artists including Lui Wa, Sung Ka Yan, Chow Nga Ching Flora, Yiu Chi Leung, Wu Chun Yin Aries and Ngan Kit Ming Joyce were exhibited, featuring the painters’ experience of life through various genres.
The Opening Ceremony, officiated by the Hon. Ma Fung Kwok, SBS, JP, Member of the Legislative Council; Dr. Louis Ng, Deputy Director of Leisure and Cultural Services; Dr. Simon Suen, BBS, JP, and Miss Chloe Suen, Founding Chairman and Chair respectively of the Simon Suen Foundation; and Mr. Yeung Chun Tong, Director of the Sun Museum, was held on 1 December 2016. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement attended the Ceremony on behalf of the University.
The exhibition aims to increase the public’s awareness and interest in oil painting. The public can enjoy free admission by appointment and the exhibition will be held until 7 January 2017. Please click here for details.
