The University hosted its annual Employers’ Luncheon on 6 February 2017, providing an opportunity for graduating students to meet with potential employers while enhancing the ties of the University with business and community leaders. Members of the Board of Governors and members of the HKBU Foundation attended the luncheon including Mr. Billy Hung Hing Chuen; Mr. William Leung Wing Cheung, SBS, JP; Mr. Brandon Liu, JP; Dr. David Mong; Dr. Chiu Chun Bong, MBE, JP and Mrs. Luna Chiu; and Dr. Lee Shiu and Dr. Jennie Lee. Around 600 guests joined the event to meet up with our students.

They were warmly received by HKBU representatives including Mr. Cheng Yan Kee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court; Mr. Andrew Yao Cho Fai, Deputy Chairman of the Council and the Court;  Mrs. Doreen Chan, Treasurer of the Council and the Court; Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); Mr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Ricky Wong, Associate Vice-President; Professor Huang Yu, Associate Vice-President and Dean of Communication; Professor Gordon Tang, Director of Student Affairs; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.
