Members of Entrepreneur Committee of HKBU Foundation attended “20:16” Fundraising Movie Preview

A preview of “20:16”, a fundraising movie funded by Mr. Tony Ip, Chairman of Yip’s Chemical Holdings Limited, was held on 7 April 2017. Invited by Mr. Francis Ip, Senior Leadership Team Member of Yip’s Chemical Holdings Limited and Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, several members of the Committee including Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, the Committee’s Co-Chairman; Dr. Dennis Ng, BBS, MH; and Dr. Raymond Leung, were in attendance. Mr. Yeung Chee Kong, Associate Vice-President (Engagement), together with Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the Board of Governors of the Foundation, attended the preview on behalf of the University.

“20:16” is adapted from the true story of Mr. Tony Ip, who wishes to inspire the young generation and inject positive energy into society at large through this movie. It is to be released in Hong Kong and on the Mainland on 18 May 2017. All the revenue generated will be donated to charity without deducting the production costs. The University is one of the supporting organisations for this meaningful movie.
