Mr. Bernard Charnwut Chan, GBS, JP, President of the Asia Financial Group, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation was recently appointed by the Government as Convenor of the Executive Council. Two donors of the University, The Hon. Regina Ip Lau Suk Yee, GBS, JP, Legislative Council Member, and The Hon. Kenneth Lau Ip Keung, MH, JP, Chairman of New Territories Heung Yee Kuk and Legislative Council Member, were appointed as non-official members of the Executive Council. These appointments took effect from 1 July 2017.
