HKBU signs MOU with Hong Kong Myanmar Chamber of Commerce
HKBU and Hong Kong Myanmar Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance collaboration.
Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) of HKBU and Mr. Albert Oung, Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Myanmar Chamber of Commerce signed the MOU on 16 January 2018.
Under the MOU, the two institutions will work towards increasing the opportunities for students from Myanmar to enrol in HKBU including discussion on the establishment of scholarship funds to support eligible students from Myanmar to study at HKBU. They also agree to facilitate student exchanges or experiential learning opportunities between Myanmar universities and HKBU.
Professor Edward Snape, Dean of Business, and Mr. Peter Li, Director of International Office, also attended the MOU signing ceremony.
Founded in 2013, the Hong Kong Myanmar Chamber of Commerce aims to connect Hong Kong and Myanmar through a variety of integrated services in creating values for both Hong Kong and Myanmar.
