Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations hosts spring cocktail reception
In celebration of Chinese New Year, the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations hosted a spring cocktail reception on 15 February 2019. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Ian Chan, MH, and Dr. Peter Lam, GBS, respective Chairmen of the Board and Supervisory Committee of the Federation, as well as other honourable guests including The Hon. Andrew Leung, GBS, JP, President of the Legislative Council; Mr. He Jing, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; The Hon. Edward Yau, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; and The Hon. Kevin Yeung, JP, Secretary for Education. The event was well attended by more than 300 guests. A number of Foundation members were also invited to join the reception. They included Dr. Ma Kai Cheung, SBS; Dr. Wong Shu Yui; Ms. Chan Oi Ching, JP; Ms. Leonie Ki, GBS, JP; and Dr. Dennis Ng, BBS, MH.
