Representatives of Experiential Learning Special Task Force of YEC visit “Peregrination in Bookplates” Exhibition
Ms. Christina Lee and Ms. Jacqueline Tong, members of the Experiential Learning Special Task Force of Young Entrepreneur Committee (YEC) of the HKBU Foundation, visited the “Peregrination in Bookplates” Exhibition on 22 May 2019. They were accompanied by Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, and Ms. Cindy Chan, Director of the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning (CISL). Dr. Sarah Ng, Research Assistant Professor of Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), was on site to explain the creative impulses behind the displays.
Co-organised by the HKBU Library and AVA with the strong support from CISL, “Peregrination in Bookplates” is an exhibition which proposes the perspective of a traveler to view around 60 bookplates donated by the members of the Hong Kong Ex-Libris Association and selected bookplates by AVA students. The two members enjoyed viewing the exhibition which offered a glimpse into the variety of local bookplate art as well our students’ creative achievements.
