The University recently received a generous donation pledge from AEON Credit Service (Asia) Company Limited ("AEON Credit Service") in support of the establishment of the “AEON Credit Service (Asia) Scholarship”, which encourages students in their pursuit of excellence. Starting from the academic year 2022-23 for three consecutive years, a grant will be awarded annually to 15 full-time local undergraduate students in their second years or above.

AEON Credit Service, a member of the AEON Group and a subsidiary of AEON Financial Service Co., Ltd., is principally engaged in the provision of consumer credit finance services, which includes the issuance of credit cards in Hong Kong. In line with its philosophy of “Pursuing peace, respecting humanity, and contributing to local communities”, the Company has been dedicated to its social corporate responsibility and continues to support projects and activities related to education, environmental protection and cultural exchange.

Through the donation, AEON Credit Service hopes to encourage students with outstanding academic achievements, support them in realising their aspirations, as well as contribute to the community and industry by playing a role in nurturing local talents.
