Six members of the HKBU community were appointed by the HKSAR Government as Non-official Members of Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) related Committees for a term of two years, with effect from 1 January 2023.

Miss Mabel Chan Mei Bo, former Council Member of HKBU and Founder of the Mabel Chan & Co., was re-appointed as Member of the ICAC Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee. Mr. Laurence Li Lu Jen, JP, Honorary Court Member of HKBU and Senior Counsel, was re-appointed as Member of the ICAC Complaints Committee.

Mr. Victor Pang Wing Seng, MH, Council Member of HKBU and Director and General Manager of Mabco Limited, was re-appointed as Member of the ICAC Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations. While, Ms. Amy Chan Lim Chee, MBE, JP, Director of the HKBU Foundation, Board of Trustee of the Elite Athletes Charitable Trust; Ms. May Chan Suk Mei, SBS, JP, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation and Chairman of the Journalism Education Foundation; and Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) of HKBU, were appointed as new Members of the Committee.
