HKBU representatives visited Dr. and Mrs. Liu Chak Wan and Macau University of Science and Technology

HKBU representatives paid a visit to Macau on 5 October 2015 to meet with Dr. Liu Chak Wan (third from left), Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, Member of the Executive Council of the Macau Special Administrative Region and Chancellor of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), and Mrs. May Liu (third from right) who are alumni of HKBU.  Dr. and Mrs. Liu hosted a lunch for the representatives including Mr. Cheng Yan Kee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court, Professor Roland T. Chin, BBS, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rick Wong, Vice-President (Research and Development), and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement.

After the lunch, the representatives visited MUST which was founded by Dr. Liu Chak Wan, including the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines, and the Lunar and Planetary Science Laboratory (MUST) - Partner Laboratory of Key Laboratory of Lunar and Deep Space Exploration, Chinese Academy of Sciences. They were warmly received by Chair Professor Liu Liang, President of MUST, Chair Professor Pang Su Seng and Dr. Tong Ka Lok, Vice-Presidents of MUST, and Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Director of the School of Continuing Studies of MUST. They exchanged views on the latest developments of higher education during the visit.
