Presided by Vice Chairman Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, the Fifth Meeting of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation was held on 17 October 2016 to review and exchange views on the fundraising strategies and financial status of the Foundation.

Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, also shared the latest developments of the University with the members. He mentioned three essential DNAs of HKBU, namely care and compassion, innovation, and global outlook, which are pivotal to the University’s success. In addition, Professor Chin invited members, many of whom have strong connections with local and global corporations and organisations, to provide students with valuable service learning and internship opportunities to broaden students’ horizons and to develop their international vision. This meaningful initiative received tremendous support from the members.
