Prior Global Properties Limited and Netel Technology (Holdings) Limited sponsored the HKBU Symphony Orchestra to hold its annual gala concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 18 April 2017. The Orchestra was conducted by Professor Johnny Poon, Associate Dean of Arts and Head of the Department of Music, and the guest performer was world-renowned marimbist Ms. Eriko Daimo. Officiated at the cocktail reception were Mr. Edmund Au, General Manager of Prior Global Asset Management Group Limited; Mr. James Ang, Chairman of Netel Technology (Holdings) Limited; Mr. Cheng Yan Kee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court; and Professor Ronald T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor.

The Concert was well attended by over 1,200 guests including members of the HKBU Foundation, friends of the University, staff and students.
