Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Mrs. Zina Chin recently hosted a dinner for Mr. Jeff Nankivell, Consul-General of Canada, and Mrs. Alison Nankivell; Mr. David Fong, BBS, JP, Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited, and Mrs. Cecilia Fong; Mr. Andy Ho, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and Mrs. Annie Ho; Dr. Tony Tai and Dr. Lo Tai Chin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman respectively of W. Haking Enterprises Limited; Dr. the Hon. Allan Zeman, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Group, and Mrs. Charmaine Zeman; to exchange views on the University’s latest development. They were joined by Dr. Henry Fock, Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing; Mr. Peter Benz, Associate Professor of the Academy of Visual Arts, and his wife Ms. Cornelia Erdmann; Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; and Mr. Rex Chan, a Year 3 student majoring in Government and International Studies and President of the HKBU Model United Nations Club.

Before the dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Ho as well as Dr. the Hon. and Mrs. Zeman visited the featured facilities of the School of Chinese Medicine, the Academy of Film and the Academy of Visual Arts. They were warmly received by Professor Eva Man and Mr. Derek Wan, Director and Senior Lecturer respectively of the Academy of Film; Dr. Kevin Yue, Associate Director of the Teaching and Research Division of the School of Chinese Medicine; Mr. Peter Benz; Mrs. Lily Chan; and Ms. Angee Chan, Lecturer of the Academy of Visual Arts.
