Dinners in Honour of President Roland T. Chin

 Foundation Members extended their warmest wishes to President Chin on his retirement


On behalf of the HKBU Foundation, Dr. Kennedy Wong, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Board of Governors, hosted the dinners on 22 and 28 October 2020 to bid farewell to Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, who will retire at the end of this year, and Mrs. Zina Chin.

The dinners were well attended by a number of Board members and the Entrepreneur Committee members including Dr. Clement Chen, GBS, JP; Ms. Rosanna Choi; Prof. Justin Chiu; Dr. Ronald Lu; Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, FHKEng; Mr. Anthony Chan; Mr. Billy Hung; Prof. William Leung, SBS, JP; Prof. Eric Li, GBS, OBE, JP; Mr. Brandon Liu, JP; Dr. David Mong; Dr. Simon Suen, BBS, JP; Mrs. Susan So, BBS; Ms. Connie Wong, SBS, JP; Prof. Sunny Wong; Dr. Christina Lee, MH; Dr. Dennis Ng, SBS, MH; and Ms. Eileen Tsui, BBS, JP.  They were joined by Mr. Yeung Chee Kong, Associate Vice-President (Engagement); and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.

At the dinners, Dr. Kennedy Wong, Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, Dr. Simon Suen, Mr. Brandon Liu and Ms. Eileen Tsui presented their gifts to express their heartiest gratitude for President Chin’s tremendous contributions to the University and the HKBU Foundation over the years.  All members enjoyed a memorable and great evening with President Chin and Mrs. Chin.
