Scholarships at HKBU: Creating new opportunities for students
With the generous support of numerous donors, HKBU has offered a wide range of scholarships to our students. Taking the academic year of 2020/21 as an example, there are nearly 400 scholarships available for our distinguished students. Apart from giving recognition to students with outstanding academic performance, these scholarships also aim to lighten students’ financial burden so that they can focus on their academic pursuits and personal development.
Ma Tsz Ching, an awardee of the Hang Seng Bank Community Service; Xelia Chung, a recipient of the First-Generation University Student Fund; and Kwan Ying Kin, an awardee of the SV Foundation Student Scholarship, are grateful to have received such scholarships. With the scholarships, they are able to channel tuition fees into various meaningful opportunities, thereby enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding university life.
