A delegation of 8 members from The Y.Elites Association, led by its Vice Chairmen Ms. Ellen Tsang and Ms. Christie Hoo, paid a visit to the University on 6 July 2016. Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, extended his warm welcome to members of the Association for taking time out from their busy schedules to visit the University.
Founded in 2007, Y.Elites aims to arouse the awareness of the young generation about the latest developments of the motherland and to nurture future talent for the benefit of the community. Ms. Ellen Tsang admired HKBU for its vision in providing programmes that meet the needs of the Hong Kong community. She looked forward to close collaboration with HKBU in different aspects of the University’s development in the years to come.
During the visit, Mr. Simon So, Associate Programme Director of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) of the School of Business, gave an introduction to the recent developments at the School of Business. The delegation then visited the Academy of Film and the School of Chinese Medicine. They were warmly received by Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP, Associate Vice-President and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President and Director of the Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine, Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, and the representative of the Academy of Film.
