Prior Global Properties Limited and CEFC Hong Kong Financial Investment Limited sponsored the HKBU Symphony Orchestra to hold its annual gala concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 19 April 2018. The Orchestra was conducted by its music director, Professor Johnny Poon, Acting Dean of Arts of HKBU, and the concert featured Chinese-born world-renowned soprano Zhang Liping as guest performer.

Officiated at the cocktail reception were Mr. Edmund Au, General Manager of Prior Global Asset Management Group Limited; Mr. Peter Zhang, Executive Director and CEO of CEFC Hong Kong Financial Investment Company Limited; Ms. Rosanna Choi, Treasurer of the Council and the Court; and Professor Ronald T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor.

The Concert was well attended by over 1,200 guests including government officials, members of the HKBU Foundation, staff, students and friends of the University.
